Super TET 2026 Last Date Extended to 28 October

UPESSC has extended the last date for Super TET 2026 (Advt. No. 05/2026) from 15 October to 28 October 2026.
The last date to correct the online form is now 31 October 2026 (earlier 19 October).
The written exam has not been postponed. It will be held on 3 and 4 December 2026, as announced.

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) issued notice No. 3006 on 15 October 2026 extending the application window for the 12,405 assistant teacher posts of Advertisement No. 05/2026, popularly called UP Super TET 2026. Candidates who have not yet applied, or who registered but did not pay the fee, can complete the process until 28 October 2026. The official notice is on upessc.up.gov.in (PDF).

How to apply for Super TET 2026: step by step

One Time Registration (OTR): register on upessc.up.gov.in. OTR is compulsory before the application form opens. The commission’s user manual and tutorial videos are on the website.
Open the form: log in with the OTR details and select Advertisement No. 05/2026 (Assistant Teacher Associated Primary and Assistant Teacher Urban).
Fill in the details: personal details, category and sub-category, educational and training qualifications, and TET details. Check every entry, since category, sub-category, date of birth and gender cannot be changed after the form is finally submitted.
Give your preference: choose the order of preference between urban primary schools and associated primary (aided) schools. This is compulsory, and the preference cannot be changed after the last date.
Upload documents: a photograph and a clear signature in the prescribed size. An application without them, or without accepting the declaration, is cancelled.
Pay the fee: the form is valid only when OTR, fee payment and the application are all completed by 28 October 2026.
Print and save: keep a copy of the submitted form and the fee receipt for document verification.

What can be corrected until 31 October?

The correction window lets candidates fix mistakes in the submitted form. The advertisement makes one exception: the category, sub-category, date of birth and gender cannot be changed once the online form has been finally submitted. If any of these is wrong, contact the commission’s support numbers (below) before the correction window closes.

After applying: what comes next

Around 23 November 2026: the exam district appears on the website (the advertisement says 10 days before the exam).
Around 30 November 2026: the admit card with the exam centre can be downloaded (3 days before the exam). Information also comes by SMS and e-mail.
3 and 4 December 2026: the written exam. The centre cannot be changed, and an answer sheet written at any centre other than the allotted one is not evaluated.

Use the remaining five weeks to cover the official Super TET syllabus and to solve the 2018 and 2019 papers under a timer.
