The schedule has no interview on 21 and 22 November (weekend) or on 24 November. UPSC states that no request for a change of interview date will be entertained.
What to carry to the interview
- Original documents plus self-attested photocopies as listed in Annexure I of the notice: matriculation certificate showing date of birth, degree or provisional certificate with marksheets, experience certificates in the prescribed proforma, caste/OBC (with non-creamy-layer declaration) or PwBD certificates where claimed, age-relaxation certificates, and name-change documents if applicable.
- Attestation Form with photographs, and the TA bill form if you are an outstation candidate. UPSC’s website has the forms under Recruitment / Interview.
- Original affidavit if you were shortlisted provisionally; UPSC says candidature may be cancelled without it.
- Printout of the online application and the interview letter.

How the interview fits into the final result
As per the advertisement the Recruitment Test carries 300 marks and the interview 100, in the ratio 75:25. The final merit list combines both, so the interview can move a candidate’s rank materially. UPSC will publish the result on its website after the interviews finish.
EPFO APFC interview: how to prepare in two weeks
- Know your application cold. The board works from your online application and documents, so be ready on every entry: graduation subject, any experience claimed, optional diploma in company law, labour laws or public administration.
- Read the job. The advertisement lists the duties as enforcement, recovery, accounts, administration, cash, legal, pension and computer work. Think of two or three situations from each.
- Revise the EPFO basics: the EPF and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 1952, the Employees’ Pension Scheme 1995, the EDLI Scheme 1976, and how the four Labour Codes change social security.
- Current affairs on labour and social security from the last six months.
- Practise answering aloud in 60–90 seconds; a mock with a friend beats rereading notes.
